Mouse Proteasome subunit beta type-9 (Psmb9) ELISA Kit

The kit is reactive with mouse samples and accepts serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. It detects natural and recombinant mouse PSMB9 (UniProt P28076) using an ELISA detection method. The Mouse PSMB9 ELISA Kit is positioned as a precise tool for quantifying PSMB9 levels in mouse samples to support research into protein degradation and antigen presentation, and into conditions where PSMB9 dysregulation has been linked to autoimmune disorders and cancer.

Performance characteristics reported by the manufacturer include a detection range of 0.312–20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.165 ng/mL. Intra-assay precision is given as a CV of 6.4% and inter-assay precision as a CV of 8.9%. Spike-and-recovery values are 85% (range 80–91%) for serum and 87% (range 81–93%) for plasma. Dilution linearity has been characterised for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions. Functionally, PSMB9 is a component of the immunoproteasome that displaces the housekeeping subunit PSMB6 and contributes to antigen processing for class I binding peptide generation, as well as to NFKBIA degradation and subsequent NFKB1 generation; the protein localises to the cytoplasm and nucleus.
