Mouse Protachykinin-1 (Tac1) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA is designed for the quantitative detection of mouse Protachykinin-1 (Tac1), also referred to by the synonyms PPT, Nka, Nkna, and Tac2. Using a colorimetric detection method, the assay is intended for use with mouse serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and shows specificity for natural and recombinant mouse Protachykinin-1. Protachykinin-1, also known as Tachykinin-1, is a secreted neuropeptide involved in neurogenic inflammation, pain perception and stress response, with dysregulation implicated in chronic pain, asthma and inflammatory bowel disease.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 31.2-2000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 15.6pg/mL. Intra-assay CV is 8.3% and inter-assay CV is 9.9%. Linearity has been verified in serum (104-114%, 92-102%, 94-105% and 106-116% at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions; N=5), EDTA plasma (108-120%, 84-94%, 95-105%, 84-94%) and heparin plasma (104-116%, 100-110%, 82-92%, 86-96%).
