Mouse Prostaglandin E synthase 3 (Ptges3) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a sandwich ELISA designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse Prostaglandin E synthase 3 (PTGES3) in biological samples. The assay uses colorimetric detection and is reactive with mouse specimens. PTGES3 is a cytosolic prostaglandin synthase that catalyses the oxidoreduction of prostaglandin endoperoxide H2 (PGH2) to prostaglandin E2 (PGE2), and has been studied in the context of inflammation, immune response, and related disease states.

The assay has a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.083 ng/mL. Reported precision values include an intra-assay CV of 6.2% and an inter-assay CV of 8.4%. Spiked recovery averaged 116% (range 110–120%) for serum and 118% (range 112–120%) for plasma. Linearity was evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, with reported values across matrices ranging from approximately 82% to 126%.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. The antibodies recognise natural and recombinant mouse PTGES3.
