Mouse Prostaglandin D2 receptor (Ptgdr) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative determination of mouse Prostaglandin D2 receptor (Ptgdr) in mouse serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit specifically recognises natural and recombinant mouse Prostaglandin D2 receptor (synonyms: Prostanoid DP receptor, PGD receptor).

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.625-40 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.318 ng/mL, with intra-assay CV of 6.8% and inter-assay CV of 8.6%. Linearity was assessed at 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions in serum (81-90% to 99-109%), EDTA plasma (84-96% to 91-102%) and heparin plasma (115-127% to 94-104%), and recovery averages are 85% (range 80-91%) in serum and 87% (range 81-93%) in plasma. The target protein (UniProt P70263; molecular weight 40,005 Da) is the receptor for prostaglandin D2, an activity mediated mainly through G(s) proteins that stimulate adenylate cyclase and raise intracellular cAMP.

Colourimetric detection is read at 450 nm using a microplate reader, following the supplied procedure with pre-coated plate, lyophilised standard and detection antibodies. For research use only.
