Mouse Prolyl 4-hydroxylase subunit alpha-1 (P4ha1) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the accurate detection of mouse Prolyl 4-hydroxylase subunit alpha-1 (P4HA1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, using a colorimetric detection method. P4HA1 is a key enzyme involved in collagen synthesis and stabilization, catalysing the post-translational formation of 4-hydroxyproline in -Xaa-Pro-Gly- sequences in collagens and other proteins, and its dysregulation has been implicated in fibrosis, cancer, and cardiovascular disorders.

The assay has a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.16ng/mL, with an intra-assay CV of 6.8% and inter-assay CV of 8.7%. Linearity in serum spans 102-114% (1:2) to 101-111% (1:16), in EDTA plasma 91-101% to 104-113%, and in heparin plasma 108-119% to 97-107%. Recovery is 90% (range 84-96%) for serum and 92% (range 86-98%) for plasma. Specificity covers natural and recombinant mouse P4HA1, a heterotetramer of two alpha-1 chains and two beta chains (the beta chain being the multi-functional PDI) located in the endoplasmic reticulum lumen (UniProt Q60715).
