Mouse Proline-rich acidic protein 1 (Prap1) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of mouse proline-rich acidic protein 1 (PRAP1). The kit is reactive with mouse samples and validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. PRAP1 is described as a secreted protein implicated in cell signalling and may be involved in cell adhesion and migration, with a proposed role in maintaining normal growth homeostasis in epithelial cells. It is highlighted as a valuable biomarker for studying various physiological and pathological conditions. Quantitative performance has been characterised with a detection range of 0.625–40 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.317 ng/mL. Reported precision is an intra-assay CV of 4.7% and an inter-assay CV of 7.4%. Linearity has been assessed across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions in serum (84–117%), EDTA plasma (97–115%) and heparin plasma (81–125%). Mean recovery is 80% (range 80–85%) in serum and 81% (range 80–87%) in plasma. Specificity is confirmed for natural and recombinant mouse PRAP1. For research use only.
