Mouse Prokineticin-1 (Prok1) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of mouse Prokineticin-1 (Prok1), also known as Endocrine-gland-derived vascular endothelial growth factor (EG-VEGF) or Pk1. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is reactive with mouse samples, including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

Prokineticin-1 is a secreted signaling molecule that potently contracts gastrointestinal smooth muscle, induces proliferation, migration and fenestration in capillary endothelial cells, and influences neuroblastoma progression. Dysregulation of Prokineticin-1 has been linked to inflammatory, reproductive, and neurological conditions, making it a valuable biomarker for studying these diseases and developing potential treatments.

According to the manufacturer, the kit provides a detection range of 6.25-400pg/mL with a sensitivity of 3.195pg/mL. Precision is reported as 6.6% intra-assay CV and 9.8% inter-assay CV. Specificity is confirmed for natural and recombinant mouse Prokineticin-1. For research use only.
