Mouse Prokineticin-1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the precise measurement of prokineticin-1 levels in mouse samples. Using a double-antibody sandwich format with reactivity specific to mouse, the kit accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Prokineticin-1 is a key signaling molecule involved in the regulation of circadian rhythms, reproduction, and immune response, and its dysregulation has been linked to a range of diseases, supporting research into neuroendocrine functions, immune responses, and reproductive biology.

Performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 3.75 pg/mL and a detection range of 6.25-400 pg/mL. Linearity was demonstrated in serum (89-100% at 1:2, 87-101% at 1:4, 80-95% at 1:8, n=5), EDTA plasma (86-101%, 89-100%, 85-95%, n=5), and heparin plasma (85-95%, 83-92%, 87-97%, n=5). Recovery ranges were 86-101% (serum, average 92%), 86-104% (EDTA plasma, average 97%), and 85-105% (heparin plasma, average 95%). The research area is cardiovascular, and the kit should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

The assay protocol proceeds by equilibrating reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labeled detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) binding for 30 minutes, TMB substrate color development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm after adding stop solution.
