Mouse Proheparin-binding EGF-like growth factor (Hbegf) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA is designed for the detection of Proheparin-binding EGF-like growth factor (HB-EGF) in mouse samples. Also referred to by the synonyms Dtr and Hegfl, HB-EGF is a growth factor that mediates its effects via EGFR, ERBB2, and ERBB4, and is required for normal cardiac valve formation and normal heart function. The kit is for research use only and has been validated for reactivity with mouse.

Quantitative performance includes a detection range of 15.6-1000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 8.01pg/mL. Precision is characterised by an intra-assay CV of 4.5% and an inter-assay CV of 6.9%. Linearity has been assessed in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma across serial dilutions, and recovery has been determined for serum (average 102%, range 96-108%) and plasma (average 104%, range 98-110%) samples. Specificity covers natural and recombinant mouse HB-EGF.
