Mouse Profilin-3 (Pfn3) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of Mouse Profilin-3 (Pfn3) in serum, plasma, saliva, urine, cell culture supernatant, tissue samples and other related supernatants. The assay uses a microtiter plate pre-coated with a specific antibody, followed by a biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate, with the resulting colour change read at 450 nm ± 2 nm.

Profilin-3 is a key protein involved in cytoskeletal regulation and cell motility, contributing to processes such as cell migration and division. Dysregulation of Profilin-3 has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer and neurological disorders. The kit detects natural and recombinant mouse Profilin-3, with a reported detection range of 78-5000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 39.9 pg/mL.

For research use only. The target protein functions in actin binding and slightly reduces actin polymerization, with reported involvement in spermatogenesis, and is localised to the cytoplasm, cytoskeleton and nucleus.
