Mouse Procollagen galactosyltransferase 1 (Glt25d1) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is intended for the quantitative measurement of Mouse Procollagen galactosyltransferase 1 (Glt25d1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Also referred to as Collagen beta(1-O)galactosyltransferase 1, Glycosyltransferase 25 family member 1, or Hydroxylysine galactosyltransferase 1, Glt25d1 is a beta-galactosyltransferase that transfers beta-galactose to hydroxylysine residues of collagen. Through this activity on collagen glycosylation, the enzyme contributes to extracellular matrix formation and tissue remodeling, and its dysregulation has been implicated in fibrosis, arthritis and skin disorders.

The assay detects natural and recombinant mouse Procollagen galactosyltransferase 1 with a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.083 ng/mL, with absorbance read on a microplate reader at 450 nm. Provided components include a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilized standard, sample diluent, assay diluents A and B, detection reagents A and B, wash buffer, substrate, stop solution and plate sealer, with most reagents stored at –20 °C and wash buffer, substrate and stop solution stored at 4 °C.
