Mouse PRL (Prolactin) CLIA Kit (MOES00063)

A chemiluminescence immunoassay from Assay Genie for the quantitative determination of Mouse Prolactin (PRL) in serum, plasma and other biological fluids, using a 100 μL sample volume. The assay follows a Sandwich-CLIA format with a total assay time of 3 h 30 min. Sensitivity is quoted at 18.75 pg/mL, the detection range spans 31.25–2000 pg/mL, and overall recovery is 80%–120%.

Prolactin is a hormone involved in the regulation of lactation, fertility and immune response, with altered levels linked to reproductive, immune and endocrine disorders, supporting its use as a biomarker in research areas including cancer and signal transduction. The kit shows no significant cross-reactivity or interference between Mouse PRL and analogues. Linearity has been validated in serum, EDTA plasma and cell culture media at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, and recovery has been demonstrated in EDTA plasma (n=8, range 99–116%, average 107%) and in cell culture media (n=8, range 86–98%, average 93%).

Kit components are supplied with specified storage at –20 °C or 2–8 °C, with HRP conjugate and substrate reagents protected from light.
