Quantify preadipocyte factor 1 (Pref-1), also known as DLK-1 or FA1, in mouse-derived specimens with this dedicated immunoassay panel from Assay Genie. The 96-assay configuration supports mid-throughput studies of adipogenesis, metabolic disease, and developmental biology, where Pref-1 acts as a key regulator of preadipocyte differentiation and Notch signaling. Researchers can measure endogenous protein levels across cell culture supernatants and circulating blood fractions obtained from murine models, making the kit applicable to both in vitro differentiation experiments and in vivo work on obesity, type 2 diabetes, and hepatic fibrosis.

Each kit ships with pre-coated microwell strips, matched capture and detection antibody reagents, standard curve calibrators, substrate, and buffer diluents sufficient to develop a full plate in a single workup. The included protocol recommends preparing fresh standard dilutions for each run and assaying samples in duplicate or triplicate to maximize inter-assay precision. Components are intended for research use only and are not validated for diagnostic procedures.

Once received, the unopened kit remains stable through the printed expiration date; opened strips and reconstituted reagents should be kept refrigerated between uses and protected from light to preserve antibody activity. Reproducibility is supported by lot-matched reagents and a consistent standard curve, allowing longitudinal comparison of Pref-1/DLK-1/FA1 expression across treatment groups, time points, and tissue sources in mouse studies.
