Mouse Polymeric immunoglobulin receptor (Porciner) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of Polymeric immunoglobulin receptor (pIgR) in mouse samples. The assay uses colorimetric detection and is intended for research use only, supporting studies in immunology where pIgR plays a key role in the mucosal immune system by binding polymeric IgA and IgM at the basolateral surface of epithelial cells and transporting the complex across the cell for secretion at the apical surface. During this process a cleavage separates the extracellular portion, known as the secretory component, from the transmembrane segment.

Acceptable sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit detects natural and recombinant mouse Polymeric immunoglobulin receptor with a stated detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.078ng/mL.
