Mouse Poliovirus receptor-related protein 1 (Pvrl1) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie that is designed for the detection and quantification of mouse Poliovirus receptor-related protein 1 (PVRL1), also referred to as Nectin-1, in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is reactive with mouse samples, with specificity for natural and recombinant mouse PVRL1.

PVRL1 is a cell adhesion molecule that contributes to cell-cell interactions and is involved in immune responses and cell migration. It is probably involved in cell adhesion and serves as a receptor for alphaherpesvirus (HSV-1, HSV-2 and pseudorabies virus) entry into cells. Dysregulation of PVRL1 has been linked to diseases such as viral infections and cancer, making it a useful biomarker for research applications in immunology, virology, and cancer biology.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.085ng/mL, with intra-assay CV of 3.8% and inter-assay CV of 6.4%. Linearity in serum (N=5) spanned from 90-102% to 104-116% across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16. Recovery averaged 82% (range 80-88%) for serum and 84% (range 80-90%) for plasma.
