Mouse Podocalyxin (Podxl) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of podocalyxin (PODXL) in mouse samples. The kit is reactive with mouse material and is intended for research use only, supporting investigations in cancer biology where podocalyxin is involved in the regulation of adhesion, cell morphology and cancer progression.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.78-50ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.34ng/mL. Reported precision values are an intra-assay CV of 6.2% and an inter-assay CV of 8.0%. The kit shows consistent linearity and recovery across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples when diluted within the recommended range.

The assay accepts a broad range of sample types, including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and recognises both natural and recombinant mouse podocalyxin. Synonyms covered by the target include podocalyxin-like protein 1, PC and Pclp1.
