The kit uses a colorimetric ELISA detection method and is specific for natural and recombinant mouse PLEKHO1 (UniProt Q9JIY0).

The assay provides a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.086 ng/mL. Reported precision is 4.6% intra-assay CV and 7.2% inter-assay CV. Linearity in serum (N=5) spans 100–108% at 1:2 to 84–97% at 1:16; in EDTA plasma (N=5) from 94–106% at 1:2 to 90–103% at 1:16; and in heparin plasma (N=5) from 90–99% at 1:2 to 95–105% at 1:16. Average recovery is 85% in serum (range 80–91%) and 87% in plasma (range 81–93%).
