Quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie for measuring mouse Platelet Membrane Glycoprotein IV (also referred to as CD36), supplied as a complete 96 assays plate-format kit. The reagent enables quantification of CD36/GP4 across multiple mouse-derived sample matrices, including blood fractions and tissue homogenate preparations, and is intended for research use only in studies of scavenger receptor biology, lipid uptake, and platelet function.

CD36/GP4 is a heavily glycosylated membrane receptor expressed on platelets, macrophages, adipocytes, microvascular endothelial cells, and cardiac myocytes. It functions as a multiligand scavenger receptor that recognizes thrombospondin, oxidized low-density lipoprotein, long-chain fatty acids, anionic phospholipids, and Plasmodium-infected erythrocytes, connecting this reagent to research programs in atherosclerosis, insulin resistance, malaria cytoadherence, sterile inflammation, and angiogenesis.

Each kit supports 96 assays per microplate, providing an absorbance-based readout compatible with standard laboratory plate readers, and the configuration supports medium-throughput screening of mouse samples. The reagents are intended for research use only in laboratory settings, and the kit's mouse specificity supports translational studies using murine models of cardiovascular disease, metabolic syndrome, and platelet aggregation.
