Mouse Platelet endothelial cell adhesion molecule (Pecam1) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie for the quantitative detection of mouse Platelet endothelial cell adhesion molecule (PECAM1). The kit also recognises the synonyms CD31, PECAM-1 and Pecam, and is reactive with mouse samples only.

The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. It detects natural and recombinant mouse PECAM1 with a stated detection range of 78-5000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 40.2pg/mL. Intra-assay CV, inter-assay CV, linearity and recovery data are supplied with the kit. Optical density is read at 450 nm using a microplate reader.

PECAM1 functions as a cell adhesion molecule required for leukocyte transendothelial migration under most inflammatory conditions, with established roles in vascular biology and immune response. Its dysregulation has been linked to inflammatory and vascular diseases, making the molecule a candidate biomarker of disease progression and treatment efficacy. The kit is intended for research use only.
