Mouse Platelet-activating factor acetylhydrolase 2, cytoplasmic (Pafah2) ELISA Kit

An Assay Genie sandwich ELISA designed for the quantitative detection of Mouse Platelet-activating factor acetylhydrolase 2, cytoplasmic (Pafah2). The kit is reactive with mouse samples and uses a colorimetric detection method. It is suitable for serum and plasma specimens, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids.

Pafah2, also known as SD-PLA2 or Serine-dependent phospholipase A2, is an enzyme that metabolises platelet-activating factor, a lipid mediator involved in inflammation and immune response. Dysregulation of Pafah2 has been linked to inflammatory diseases, neurological disorders and cancer, supporting its use as a biomarker in related research.

The assay uses a pre-coated microplate, a biotinylated detection antibody and streptavidin-HRP. TMB substrate is used for color development, the reaction is stopped, and absorbance is read at 450 nm. Intended for research use only.
