Mouse Plasminogen activator inhibitor 1 (Serpine1) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse Plasminogen Activator Inhibitor-1 (SERPINE1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. SERPINE1 is a key regulator of the fibrinolytic system that plays a critical role in the inhibition of fibrinolysis and thrombus formation, with dysregulation implicated in cardiovascular diseases, thrombosis, and fibrosis. The kit uses a colorimetric detection method and is intended for research use only.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156-10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.081 ng/mL, with an intra-assay CV of 5.5% and inter-assay CV of 7.3%. Linearity has been validated across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 in serum (91-119%), EDTA plasma (94-119%) and heparin plasma (88-114%). Recovery averages 95% for serum (range 89-101%) and 97% for plasma (range 91-103%). The kit is specific for natural and recombinant mouse SERPINE1, a secreted serine protease inhibitor that acts as 'bait' for tissue plasminogen activator, urokinase, protein C and matriptase-3/TMPRSS7.
