Mouse Plasma protease C1 inhibitor (Serping1) ELISA Kit

The kit employs a colorimetric ELISA detection method with a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 39.5pg/mL. Intra-assay CV is 4.7% and inter-assay CV is 7.3%. Reported linearity for serum (N=5) spans 102-112% at 1:2 dilution, 85-94% at 1:4, 100-110% at 1:8, and 94-104% at 1:16. EDTA plasma (N=5) shows 105-114%, 93-104%, 99-110% and 83-93% across the same dilutions, while heparin plasma (N=5) spans 112-120%, 112-124%, 104-115% and 110-120%. Recovery is 87% (range 81-93%) for serum and 89% (range 83-95%) for plasma.

Plasma protease C1 inhibitor, also known by the synonyms C1 esterase inhibitor, C1-inhibiting factor, Serpin G1, C1 Inh and C1nh (UniProt P97290; NCBI Gene ID 12258; 56.4kD), is a serpin-family protein that regulates the C1 complex by forming a proteolytically inactive stoichiometric complex with the C1r or C1s proteases. It plays a potentially crucial role in regulating complement activation, blood coagulation, fibrinolysis and the generation of kinins, is a very efficient inhibitor of FXIIa, and may inhibit chymotrypsin and kallikrein.
