With a sensitivity of 0.938 ng/mL and a standard range of 1.563–100 ng/mL, the colorimetric assay accommodates serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The protocol involves primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, and TMB color development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, with absorbance read at 450 nm.

Performance characteristics include linearity between 81% and 105% across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8, and recovery rates ranging from 88–105% with averages of 94–97% depending on sample matrix. Unopened kit components are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
