Mouse Placenta growth factor (Pgf) ELISA Kit

The kit reacts with mouse specimens and is intended for research use only, supporting studies of placental development, angiogenesis and pregnancy-related complications where PGF is a relevant biomarker.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 7.8-500pg/mL and a sensitivity of 4.14pg/mL, with intra-assay CV of 7.6% and inter-assay CV of 9.4%. The assay recognises natural and recombinant mouse Placenta growth factor (synonyms PlGF, Plgf). Reported serum and plasma recovery averages are 85% and 87% respectively. Recommended sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. PGF is described as a growth factor active in angiogenesis and endothelial cell growth, stimulating their proliferation and migration, binding to the receptor FLT1/VEGFR-1, and also promoting tumour cell growth.
