Mouse PKC alpha/PRKCA ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Mouse PKC alpha/PRKCA ELISA Kit is a colorimetric sandwich ELISA designed for the quantitative measurement of protein kinase C alpha (PKC alpha) in mouse samples. The assay targets a critical enzyme involved in signal transduction, cell growth, and differentiation, with dysregulation linked to cancer, diabetes, and cardiovascular disorders.

Validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, the double-antibody sandwich format delivers a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL across a detection range of 31.25–2000 pg/mL. The kit is intended for cardiovascular research applications and should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

Assay performance is supported by linearity testing in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma (with ranges of 89–105%, 82–99%, and 82–97% across serial dilutions) and recoveries of 87–105% in serum (average 96%), 94–104% in EDTA plasma (average 99%), and 89–95% in heparin plasma (average 93%). The procedure uses a biotin-labelled detection antibody with HRP-streptavidin (SABC) and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm.
