Mouse Piezo1 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Mouse Piezo1 ELISA Kit is a sandwich, double-antibody ELISA designed for the precise measurement of Piezo1 levels in mouse serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Piezo1 is a protein involved in mechanotransduction — the cellular response to mechanical stimuli — and is implicated in cell migration, tissue development, and disease progression, making it a valuable biomarker for studies of these processes.

The assay uses a colorimetric detection method with a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and a standard range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL. Linearity has been validated across dilution ratios of 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 in serum (86–102%), EDTA plasma (82–99%), and heparin plasma (80–100%). Recovery ranges from 85–97% in serum (average 91%), 85–102% in EDTA plasma (average 93%), and 94–104% in heparin plasma (average 98%). Components are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

The protocol comprises a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, a 60-minute biotin-labelled detection antibody step, a 30-minute HRP-Streptavidin binding step, TMB colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm after addition of stop solution.
