Mouse Phosphotriesterase-related protein (Pter) ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse phosphotriesterase-related protein (PTER), also known as parathion hydrolase-related protein, this sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie supports research into a protein implicated in detoxification of organophosphates and the regulation of cellular responses to oxidative stress. Dysregulation of PTER has been linked to pesticide poisoning and neurodegenerative disorders, making it a useful tool for biomarker and therapeutic investigations.

The assay delivers a detection range of 0.312–20 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.156 ng/mL. Precision is characterised by an intra-assay CV of 6.7% and an inter-assay CV of 8.2%. Linearity was tested at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions: serum (N=5) recovered at 106–115%, 85–93%, 93–102% and 93–103%; EDTA plasma (N=5) at 97–107%, 106–115%, 102–113% and 96–106%; heparin plasma (N=5) at 110–119%, 93–102%, 81–93% and 85–94%. Average recovery in serum is 115% (range 109–120%) and in plasma 117% (range 111–120%).

Sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit is reactive with mouse samples and shows specificity for natural and recombinant mouse phosphotriesterase-related protein. Provided in a solid-phase format for colorimetric ELISA detection read at 450 nm, reagents are stored at -20°C or 4°C as detailed in the component list, and the kit is intended for research use only.
