Mouse Phosphotidylinositol phosphatase PTPRQ (Ptprq) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for quantitative detection of mouse Phosphatidylinositol phosphatase PTPRQ in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. The kit recognises both natural and recombinant mouse PTPRQ, also referred to as Receptor-type tyrosine-protein phosphatase Q (PTP-RQ), and uses a colorimetric sandwich ELISA format with reactivity specific to mouse samples.

Reported performance specifications include a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.086ng/mL. Intra-assay precision is given as a CV of 6.5% and inter-assay precision as a CV of 8.0%. Linearity was assessed across serial dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8, 1:16) in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma. Recovery in serum averages 117% (range 111-120%) and in plasma averages 119% (range 113-120%). The product is intended for research use only.

PTPRQ is a phosphatidylinositol phosphatase required for auditory function and plays a role in adipogenesis of mesenchymal stem cells by regulating AKT1 phosphorylation. Defects in PTPRQ are linked to autosomal recessive deafness type 84 (DFNB84), a form of non-syndromic sensorineural hearing loss. The protein is encoded by the mouse gene Ptprq (UniProt P0C5E4) and is localised to the membrane as a single-pass type I membrane protein.
