Mouse Phosphatidylethanolamine-binding protein 1 (Pebp1) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the quantitative measurement of mouse Phosphatidylethanolamine-binding protein 1 (PEBP1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. PEBP1 is implicated in cellular processes including cell signaling, apoptosis and tumorigenesis, and is noted as a useful biomarker for research into cancer, neurodegenerative disorders and other diseases.

Stated performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.312-20 ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.165 ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 6.8% and an inter-assay CV of 8.7%. At dilutions 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 (N=5), linearity is reported as serum 110-110%, 85-95%, 105-115%, 102-111%; EDTA plasma 94-105%, 108-108%, 91-99%, 93-103%; and heparin plasma 105-115%, 99-109%, 110-120%, 85-96%. Recovery averages 89% (range 83-95%) for serum and 91% (range 85-97%) for plasma. The assay recognises natural and recombinant mouse PEBP1, and is supplied for sandwich ELISA workflows with colorimetric readout.
