Quantitative measurement of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor delta in mouse samples is enabled by Assay Genie's PPARd ELISA Kit, supporting investigations into nuclear receptor signaling, fatty acid oxidation, and metabolic regulation across metabolic disease, inflammation, and cancer research. PPARd (also called PPARβ or NR1C2) is a ligand-activated transcription factor implicated in lipid catabolism, mitochondrial biogenesis, skeletal muscle fiber type switching, wound healing, and inflammatory responses, with documented roles in metabolic syndrome, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, atherosclerosis, and colon carcinogenesis models.

The kit accepts diverse input matrices including tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and cell culture supernatants from mouse-derived preparations. Researchers investigating adipogenesis, myogenesis, hepatic steatosis, or colorectal tumor progression in murine models can apply this kit to track PPARd protein abundance following pharmacological challenge with selective agonists such as GW501516, or after genetic manipulation of the receptor.

Reagents should be stored refrigerated between uses and equilibrated to ambient temperature before initiating the assay. Standard laboratory equipment including a microplate reader capable of absorbance measurement is required. Each kit is supplied for research use only, packaged in a vial-based format with reagents intended for single-use workflow planning once reconstituted.
