Mouse Peroxiredoxin-2 (Prdx2) ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is intended for the quantitative detection of mouse Peroxiredoxin-2 (Prdx2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The target is a cytoplasmic, thiol-specific antioxidant enzyme involved in redox regulation: it reduces peroxides with reducing equivalents provided through the thioredoxin system and helps eliminate peroxides generated during metabolism. Dysregulation of peroxiredoxin-2 has been linked to cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and cardiovascular diseases, supporting its value as a biomarker in research.

Performance specifications: a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.164ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 5.4%, and an inter-assay CV of 8.1%. Specificity covers natural and recombinant mouse Peroxiredoxin-2. Linearity (N=5) at dilutions 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 is 93-103%, 95-106%, 107-117% and 91-101% in serum; 111-120%, 89-101%, 111-121% and 101-111% in EDTA plasma; and 93-103%, 87-97%, 104-113% and 85-96% in heparin plasma. Recovery averages 97% (range 91-103) in serum and 99% (range 93-105) in plasma.
