Permeability Glycoprotein (Pgp), also known as MDR1 or ABCB1, is a 170 kDa ATP-dependent efflux transporter that contributes to multidrug resistance and limits drug bioavailability across the blood-brain barrier, intestinal epithelium, and renal tubules.

This Assay Genie kit supports quantitative measurement of Pgp in tissue homogenates and cell lysates, with applications in chemoresistance research, pharmacokinetic profiling, and transporter-mediated drug interaction studies.
