Mouse Periaxin (Prx) ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative detection of periaxin in mouse samples, this Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is reactive with mouse and accepts serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Periaxin is described as a protein involved in the maintenance and repair of myelinated nerves and in the formation and stabilisation of the myelin sheath, with dysregulation linked to various neurological disorders, making the kit relevant for research into peripheral nerve function and pathology.

The assay delivers a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.084 ng/mL. Reported precision values are an intra-assay CV of 6.2% and an inter-assay CV of 8.0%. Linearity has been assessed across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 in serum (113–123%, 110–119%, 104–114%, 98–110%), EDTA plasma (105–117%, 87–97%, 80–90%, 99–107%), and heparin plasma (97–107%, 86–96%, 106–115%, 105–117%). Recovery averages 113% (range 107–119%) for serum and 115% (range 109–120%) for plasma.

Specificity covers both natural and recombinant mouse periaxin (UniProt O55103). The kit is intended for research use only.
