Mouse Peptidoglycan recognition protein 3 (Pglyrp3) ELISA Kit

PGLYRP3 acts as a pattern receptor that binds to murein peptidoglycans (PGN) of Gram-positive bacteria, exhibiting bactericidal activity against these organisms. The protein may kill Gram-positive bacteria by interfering with peptidoglycan biosynthesis, and also binds to Gram-negative bacteria with bacteriostatic activity. It plays a part in innate immunity and is secreted from cells. The target can form monomers, disulfide-linked homodimers, and disulfide-linked heterodimers with PGLYRP4. Synonyms for the protein include Peptidoglycan recognition protein I-alpha, Peptidoglycan recognition protein intermediate alpha, PGLYRPIalpha, Gm420, and Pgrpia.

The assay has a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.174ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is reported as 6.2% and inter-assay CV as 8.6%. Linearity values across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions are 90-106% for serum, 98-120% for EDTA plasma, and 91-123% for heparin plasma.
