Mouse PDGF R beta PharmaGenie ELISA Kit (SBRS1501)

This quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie measures mouse Platelet-Derived Growth Factor Receptor beta (PDGF R beta) levels in research samples. PDGF R beta is a transmembrane receptor tyrosine kinase that responds to PDGF-B and PDGF-D ligands and governs mesenchymal cell proliferation, pericyte recruitment, and extracellular matrix remodeling in murine tissues.

The kit accepts three sample matrices: clarified cell culture supernatants harvested from cultured murine fibroblasts, smooth muscle cells, or pericytes; serum prepared from whole blood; and EDTA plasma from anticoagulated mouse blood. This flexibility supports experimental designs ranging from in vitro conditioned media screening to in vivo profiling of receptor dynamics in vascular injury, pulmonary hypertension, atherosclerosis, kidney interstitial fibrosis, wound healing, and glioblastoma models.

Each pack provides reagents for 96 assays, including pre-coated plates and the standards needed to construct a calibration curve for absolute quantification. For sample handling, aliquot each sample type immediately after preparation, clarify conditioned media by centrifugation, and minimize freeze-thaw cycles to preserve the receptor or its soluble ectodomain.
