Mouse PDGF ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Mouse PDGF ELISA Kit is a colorimetric Sandwich ELISA (Double Antibody) designed for the precise measurement of PDGF (Platelet-Derived Growth Factor) levels in mouse samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. PDGF is a key growth factor involved in cell growth, proliferation, and differentiation, with roles in wound healing, tissue repair, and development. Dysregulation of PDGF signaling has been linked to cancer, fibrosis, and vascular disorders, making it a valuable biomarker for research.

The kit offers a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a standard range of 31.25-2000 pg/mL. It should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. The assay protocol involves equilibrating reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labeled detection antibody binding at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) binding at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB color development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and immediate absorbance reading at 450 nm after adding stop solution.

Linearity was validated at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions for serum (n=5; 88-104%, 88-105%, 87-105%), EDTA plasma (n=5; 82-98%, 82-97%, 88-101%), and heparin plasma (n=5; 81-99%, 83-100%, 88-100%). Recovery ranges were 85-103% (average 93%) for serum, 91-102% (average 95%) for EDTA plasma, and 86-99% (average 92%) for heparin plasma.
