Mouse PCX (Podocalyxin) ELISA Kit

A high-quality sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of Podocalyxin (PCX) levels in mouse samples. The kit uses a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection, and is suitable for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Reported sensitivity is 4.688 pg/mL with an assay range of 7.813–500 pg/mL. Storage is at 2–8°C for 12 months. Linearity has been demonstrated across serum (85–93%, 86–101%, 89–103% at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions), EDTA plasma (84–99%, 84–96%, 83–100%) and heparin plasma (81–100%, 88–97%, 80–92%). Recovery ranges are 89–99% for serum (average 94%), 85–105% for EDTA plasma (average 96%) and 85–95% for heparin plasma (average 91%). The protocol involves equilibrating reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotinylated detection antibody binding at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) incubation at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB color development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after stop solution is added. The kit is intended for cell biology research applications.
