Mouse PCX (Podocalyxin) ELISA Kit (MOES01382)

This podocalyxin-specific assay kit from Assay Genie supports quantitative measurement of mouse PCX in laboratory specimens. Podocalyxin is a heavily glycosylated transmembrane sialoglycoprotein expressed on renal podocytes, vascular endothelium, and certain hematopoietic progenitors, where it contributes to cell-cell adhesion, the integrity of the glomerular filtration barrier, and hematopoietic cell trafficking.

Investigators working on glomerular injury models, diabetic nephropathy, transplant rejection, or vascular biology use this reagent to track PCX shedding into circulation as a marker of podocyte damage. The package contains a pre-coated microplate along with all buffers, standards, and detection antibody required to run a full plate.

Colorimetric readout is performed on a standard plate reader. Reconstituted reagents should be kept refrigerated and protected from light, and the kit is intended for research use only.
