Mouse Parkin coregulated gene protein homolog (Pacrg) ELISA Kit

Pacrg (UniProt Q9DAK2; NCBI Gene ID 69310; official symbol Pacrg), also listed under the synonyms Hypertension-related protein 1-like protein and PARK2 coregulated gene protein, is a member of the Parkin coregulated gene protein family with a molecular weight of 27,726 Da. Its UniProt-annotated function is to suppress cell death induced by accumulation of the unfolded Pael receptor (Pael-R, a substrate of Parkin) and to facilitate the formation of inclusions consisting of Pael-R, molecular chaperones, protein degradation molecules and Pacrg itself when the proteasome is inhibited. The protein has been linked to neurodegenerative disorders and Parkinson's disease, making it a relevant biomarker for research into these conditions.
