Mouse Parathormone ELISA Kit

Designed by Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of parathormone in mouse samples, this Sandwich ELISA kit uses a double-antibody format with colorimetric detection. It is intended for research applications requiring accurate and reproducible quantification of parathormone, a hormone involved in the regulation of calcium and phosphate levels, bone metabolism, and overall mineral homeostasis.

Reactivity is limited to mouse, and the kit is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Reported sensitivity is 2.813 pg/mL with an assay range of 4.688–300 pg/mL. Kits should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

Reported linearity in serum (n = 5), EDTA plasma (n = 5) and heparin plasma (n = 5) is 85–105%, 92–100% and 81–98% respectively at 1:2 dilution, with corresponding recovery ranges of 87–102% (average 96%), 95–100% (average 98%) and 85–104% (average 96%). Parathormone is also known by the synonyms PTH and parathyroid hormone.
