Manufactured by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the quantitative detection of mouse Paired immunoglobulin-like type 2 receptor beta (PILRB) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids, with reactivity confirmed for mouse samples. The kit shows a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.09ng/mL.

Performance characteristics include an intra-assay CV of 5.1% and an inter-assay CV of 7.3%. Linearity in serum (N=5) ranges from 106-116% at 1:2 to 82-91% at 1:16; EDTA plasma (N=5) ranges from 107-116% at 1:2 to 108-118% at 1:16; and heparin plasma (N=5) ranges from 87-99% at 1:2 to 87-97% at 1:16. Recovery is 96% (90-102%) in serum and 98% (92-104%) in plasma. The kit is specific for natural and recombinant mouse PILRB.

PILRB is a paired receptor thought to act as a cellular signaling activating receptor that associates with ITAM-bearing adapter molecules, appears to associate with DAP12, and is a receptor for CD99. It may be involved in target cell recognition by natural killer cells and in activation of dendritic cells, with roles implicated in immune regulation, autoimmune disorders, and infectious diseases.
