Mouse P53 ELISA Kit

Designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of Mouse TP53 concentrations in serum, plasma and other biological fluids, this Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is intended for research use only. The kit targets p53, a transcription factor and major tumour suppressor that plays a major role in regulating cellular responses to DNA damage and other genomic aberrations, with activation leading to either cell cycle arrest and DNA repair or apoptosis.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 37.5pg/ml and an assay range of 62.5-4000pg/ml. Spike-and-recovery testing in serum (n=5) gave a recovery range of 85-102% (average 93%), in EDTA plasma (n=5) 91-104% (average 96%), and in UFH plasma (n=5) 88-103% (average 97%). Linearity assessed by serial dilution showed the percentage of calculated versus expected concentration in serum (n=5) of 90-99% at 1:2, 93-103% at 1:4, and 87-97% at 1:8; in EDTA plasma (n=5) 82-100%, 85-101%, and 85-96%; and in UFH plasma (n=5) 82-97%, 84-98%, and 80-97%. Intra-assay precision is reported as CV <8% and inter-assay precision as CV <10%.
