Mouse P2Y purinoceptor 12 (P2ry12) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the accurate detection of mouse P2Y purinoceptor 12 (P2RY12) levels in biological samples. P2RY12 is a purinergic receptor involved in platelet activation and signaling, playing a role in thrombosis and immune response modulation, and is regarded as a useful biomarker for studying inflammatory and thrombotic conditions.

The assay uses an ELISA readout with a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.085 ng/mL. Reported precision includes an intra-assay CV of 7.9% and an inter-assay CV of 9.5%. The kit is validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids, and specifically recognises natural and recombinant mouse P2Y purinoceptor 12.

Linearity has been characterised in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma across serial dilutions, and recovery in serum averages 91% (range 85–97%) while in plasma it averages 93% (range 87–99%). Functionally, P2RY12 is a receptor for ADP and ATP coupled to G-proteins that inhibit the adenylyl cyclase second messenger system, and is required for normal platelet aggregation and blood coagulation.
