Mouse P-selectin (Selp) ELISA Kit

Designed by Assay Genie for the quantitative detection of mouse P-selectin (Selp), this colorimetric Sandwich ELISA kit is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay is specific for natural and recombinant mouse P-selectin, an adhesion molecule also referenced by synonyms such as CD62P, GMP-140, LECAM3, PADGEM and Grmp.

The kit delivers a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.081 ng/mL. Reproducibility is supported by an intra-assay CV of 3.5% and inter-assay CV of 6.7%, with linearity demonstrated across serial dilutions of serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Recovery averages 96% for serum (range 90–102%) and 98% for plasma (range 92–104%).

P-selectin is a Ca²⁺-dependent receptor that mediates the interaction of activated endothelial cells or platelets with leukocytes through the sialyl-Lewis X ligand, supporting leukocyte rolling during the early steps of inflammation. For research use only.
