Mouse Oxytocin receptor ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Mouse Oxytocin receptor ELISA Kit is a sandwich ELISA using a double antibody format with a colorimetric detection method, designed for the quantitative measurement of oxytocin receptor (Uniprot P97926; aliases Oxtr, OTR, OT-R, OXTR) in mouse-derived samples. Validated reactivity is mouse, and accepted sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Reported spike-and-recovery averages are 95% for serum, 93% for EDTA plasma, and 97% for heparin plasma (n=5 each), with recovery ranges of 88-104%, 85-101% and 87-104% respectively. Linearity in serum is 90-104% at a 1:2 dilution, 87-103% at 1:4 and 92-103% at 1:8, with comparable values reported for EDTA plasma (86-101%, 83-100%, 91-99%) and heparin plasma (81-98%, 83-99%, 84-97%). Intra-assay CV is reported as <8% and inter-assay CV as <10%.

For research use only. The assay uses a biotin-conjugated detection antibody with HRP-streptavidin and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm. Storage is 2-8°C for 12 months per the manufacturer datasheet.
