Mouse OX-2 membrane glycoprotein (Cd200) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for quantitative detection of mouse OX-2 membrane glycoprotein (CD200), also referred to as MRC OX-2 antigen and Mox2. The assay is reactive with mouse samples and is intended for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids, with a colorimetric detection readout.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.078 ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 6.2% and an inter-assay CV of 7.6%. The antibody pair recognises natural and recombinant mouse OX-2 membrane glycoprotein. Linearity was evaluated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions: serum samples (n=5) ranged 100–117%, EDTA plasma (n=5) ranged 94–115%, and heparin plasma (n=5) ranged 95–115%. Mean recovery was 83% (range 80–89%) for serum and 85% (range 80–91%) for plasma.

The kit is supplied with a dismountable microplate, lyophilised standard, sample and assay diluents, detection reagents A and B, wash buffer, substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, with storage temperatures specified per component (−20 °C for most items, 4 °C for wash buffer, substrate and stop solution).
