Mouse Osteopontin (OPN) ELISA Kit

Osteopontin, also called SPP1 or secreted phosphoprotein 1, is a phosphorylated glycoprotein produced by osteoblasts, activated immune cells, epithelial tissues, and tumor microenvironments. Researchers use the Assay Genie Mouse Osteopontin ELISA Kit to quantify OPN levels in mouse-derived samples for studies of bone remodeling, cell migration, integrin signaling, inflammatory responses, cancer metastasis, renal and pulmonary fibrosis, atherosclerosis, and bone metabolism. Circulating and local OPN measurements serve as biomarkers of disease progression and therapeutic response in these models.

The assay accommodates multiple specimen types, including whole-tissue homogenates, isolated cell lysates, cell culture supernatant fractions, and specimens such as serum or plasma, supporting both in vivo and in vitro study designs such as tumor xenograft pharmacodynamics, chronic injury models, and primary cell stimulation experiments.
