Mouse OSM (Oncostatin-M) CLIA Kit (MOES00461)

The Assay Genie Mouse OSM (Oncostatin-M) CLIA Kit is a chemiluminescence-based immunoassay for quantitative detection of Oncostatin-M, a pro-inflammatory cytokine belonging to the IL-6 family, in mouse serum, plasma, and related biological fluids.

Oncostatin-M is secreted by activated lymphocytes and macrophages and plays roles in inflammatory signaling, bone remodeling, hepatic regeneration, and neural development, making it a frequently measured target in immunology, oncology, and metabolic disease research.

The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with capture antibody and a chemiluminescent detection system, providing a broader dynamic range and lower detection limit than conventional colorimetric ELISA. Typical sample volumes are 50-100 µl per well, and the standard curve is generated with recombinant mouse OSM.

Reconstituted reagents should be stored at 2-8 degrees C, while concentrated standards and buffers are kept frozen at -20 degrees C for longer shelf life. Allow all components to equilibrate to room temperature before use and minimize repeated freeze-thaw cycles of working aliquots.
