Mouse Oncostatin-M (Osm) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of mouse oncostatin-M (OSM) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is intended for research use only, providing high sensitivity and specificity for both natural and recombinant mouse oncostatin-M.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 15.6–1000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 7.8 pg/mL. Intra-assay CV is 6.8% and inter-assay CV is 8.7%. Linearity has been evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, while spike-and-recovery testing shows an average recovery of 100% in serum (range 94–106%) and 102% in plasma (range 96–108%).

Oncostatin-M is a secreted cytokine with roles in inflammation, cell growth and differentiation, and has been implicated in cancer, inflammatory disorders and autoimmune diseases. The kit supports immunology research and is supplied with components including a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilized standard, sample and assay diluents, detection reagents, wash buffer, substrate and stop solution, stored at temperatures ranging from –20°C to 4°C.
