Mouse Oncostatin M (OSM) ELISA Kit

A quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie for measuring Oncostatin M (OSM), a gp130-family cytokine secreted by activated T cells, monocytes, and dendritic cells that signals through the OSMR/gp130 receptor complex. OSM drives inflammatory cascades, osteoclast differentiation, hepatic regeneration, and stromal remodeling in tumor microenvironments, making it a frequent biomarker in murine models of rheumatoid arthritis, pulmonary fibrosis, and cancer cachexia. The kit uses a microplate-based absorbance readout and is configured for mouse-reactive specimens such as cell culture supernatant, tissue homogenate, and other laboratory-derived mouse samples.

Each kit contains a pre-coated plate, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, lyophilized recombinant mouse OSM standards, wash buffer, substrate solution, and stop reagent. For best results, aliquot the lyophilized components upon arrival and store the kit refrigerated; reconstituted standards should be frozen at -20°C in single-use aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles.
